Jakarta BBPOM Launches JakKonek at SMAN 78 Jakarta

Jakarta Center for Drug and Food Control Agency (BBPOM) launched JakKonek channeling, Innovation in Digitalization Strategy for Communication, Information, Education (KIE) for Drugs and Food at SMAN 78 Jakarta, Pajak Complex, Jalan Bhakti IV, Kemanggisan Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district, West Jakarta, Friday (8/16).

Jakarta Center for Drug and Food Control Agency Head, Sofiyani Chandrawati Anwar, said the JakKonek kick off channeling was participated by West Jakarta Administration, Jakarta Education Agency, West Jakarta Education Sub-agency, and Ministry of Religion Office. Then also 14 schools ranging from state and private elementary schools, state madrasah ibtidaiyah, state madrasah Aliyah, state junior high school, and state senior high school.

"Digital JakKonek is created to increase the effectiveness of drug and food supervision and as an effort to build a digital ecosystem in Jakarta," she said.

Jakarta BBPOM Launches JakKonek to Support MSMEs

Sofiyani added that JakKonek will be connected to all digital platforms in Jakarta including schools. One of them is JakKonek in the digital library in the SMAN 78 Jakarta library. Later, the information in JakKonek can be easily accessed by all students regarding medicines and food that are suitable and healthy for consumption.

"It is hoped that public literacy will increase with JakKonek. So that a good drug and food monitoring system is formed. It means the public can become smart consumers and business actors with competitiveness skill," she stated.
