Pasar Minggu Residents Happy to Take Part in New Industry Entrepreneurship Training

Residents living in Pasar Minggu Sub-district are happy to take part in the New Industrial Entrepreneurship training held by the South Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Sub-agency (PPKUKM) in the hall of the local Sub-district Office.
They can also use this ability to save costs by making their own clothes
One of the training participants, a resident of Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, Lilis (41) expressed his gratitude for this free and useful training.
Besides the skills knowledge in the fashion sector that she has gained, she also felt happy because she would get a sewing machine after completing this training.

Pasar Minggu Sub-district PPKUKM Executing Unit Head, Fajar Fadriansyah said the fashion training attended by 40 participants would take place from August 19 to 22, 2024.
"We involved 40 participants from all urban villages who are Jakpreneurs assisted by the Pasar Minggu PPKUKM Unit," he explained.
In this fashion training, participants were taught several techniques by resource persons or competent presenters, starting from making patterns, sewing techniques to finishing.
"For the fourth or final day of training tomorrow, participants are required to display their work by holding a fashion show wearing the clothes they have made," he added.
Besides gaining knowledge about fastening, at the end of this training activity they were also given facilities and infrastructure to support their business in the form of sewing machines for free.
"Hopefully, they can develop their business or open a new business in the fashion sector. In fact, they can also use this ability to save costs by making their own clothes," he hoped.
