West Jakarta Health Sub-agency commemorated World Breastfeeding Week by holding socialization of exclusive breastfeeding at Wijaya Kusuma Room, West Jakarta Mayor Office, Thursday (8/22).

The program was participated by 50 participants of community health center head, regional hospital and companies.
West Jakarta Administration's Community Welfare Division Head, Abdurahman Anwar, said there are many roles from all sectors in providing exclusive breastfeeding to baby.
"We hope that World Breastfeeding Week will be a momentum for us to always care and be responsible in providing support and protection for breastfeeding mothers in order to create a golden generation in the future," he said.
West Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Erizon Safari, stated the World Breastfeeding Week commemoration was held on August 1-7.
"Exclusive breastfeeding is important for the health of children and mothers," he stated.
