Additional Nutritious Food Distributed to SDN Cipayung 04 Students

Jakarta Provincial Government through its Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD), PT PAM Jaya, distributed additional nutritious food to 800 students of SDN Cipayung, East Jakarta, Monday (8/26).

Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, directly attended the additional nutritious food distribution at the school together with East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, Acting Education Agency Head, Budi Awaludin, Director of PAM Jaya, Arief Nasrudin and other related officials.

Students were enthusiast to eat the food in thin plastic box that contained rice, omelet, chicken, tempeh and cap cai vegetables, as well as grapes. One of the students was Dave Haidar (8), student of class 1B.

"I love the food. It's delicious," he said.

Alexi Delvian Ibrahim (8), another student, also admitted that he was happy with the distribution of additional nutritious food.

"Hopefully similar program to be held again," he admitted.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Herwin Meifendy, explained the food provided has been checked by nutritionists and environmental health experts.

"The inspection was conducted randomly using an on-site laboratory. The results showed that the food met nutritional and healthy ingredient," she explained.

She added that food was free from hazardous materials such as formalin, borax, rhodamin-B, and M Yellow. The food was safe as long as it did not exceed the specified time limit at 10 AM.
