N. Jakarta Deputy Mayor Monitors KIR Test at UP PKB Cilincing

North Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Juaini Yusuf, conducted monitoring of KIR test at Ciincing Motor Vehicle Testing Management Unit (UP PKB), Jalan Syech Nawawi Al Bantani, Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district.

Juaini said, this visit aimed to ensure that services at UP PKB Cilincing are running well and smoothly. Motorized vehicles are an important element of modern mobility, especially commercial transportation. It means vehicle KIR is very important as an effort to maintain safety.

"All services are good, starting from the administrative process to testing which includes identification, vehicle completeness, braking to exhaust gas also runs efficiently," he said, Tuesday (8/27).

Juani appealed to vehicle owners to routinely conduct KIR tests to ensure the roadworthiness of the vehicle. Thus, the potential for accidents can be minimized.

UP PKB Cilincing Head, Erwansyah, explained there are 510 vehicles served every day.

"We also serve collective tests or pick-up services both at terminals, roads, and so on. On average, each location can serve 60 vehicle units.

Erwansyah added that the service has met the standards and is trusted. In fact, the service has become a role model in Indonesia, with 30 minutes completion.

"Don't be afraid to do a KIR test. It's no illegal levy here. We make sure it's safe and comfortable. This is to improve mutual safety," he stated.
