The West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) is widening the water channel on Jalan Dharma Wanita I, RT 11/01, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district. Some parts of the channel sheet piles are also repaired.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Purwanti said the total length of the widened and repaired channel was 350 meters using 60x60 and 80x80 centimeter U-ditches which were then covered with concrete casting.
"The channel was there before but it was small. Then the sheet pile was also damaged so we repaired it," she expressed, Thursday (8/29).

"Hopefully, the widening is carried to smoothen water flow into the Mookevart River, thus flooding can be minimized," she explained.

"Hopefully, we can be free of flooding," he hoped.
