Grogol Utara Residents Enthusiast to Buy Cheap Chilies

Residents of Grogol Utara Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district, South Jakarta were enthusiast to buy cheap chilies.

The price is affordable

One of Grogol Utara Urban Village residents, Mena (43), appreciated the program of cheap chilies.

"The price is affordable and cheaper compared to the markets. Hopefully other commodities can be sold like this," she said, Friday (8/30).

Meanwhile, Grogol Utara Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, Ndari Sulistiarti, said this activity was realized through synergy with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia and the National Food Agency.

"We present the original price of chilies from farmers as an effort to maintain environmental food security and people's purchasing power," she stated.

Ndari explained the commodities sold during the program were 0.25 kilograms of red chilies Rp. 15,000, curly red cayenne peppers Rp. 15,000 for 0.5 kilograms.

Then, there is also a special price for purchasing 0.5 kilograms of cayenne pepper at a price of Rp 25,000.

"I hope that the fairly cheap prices offered here can help residents in terms of fulfilling their kitchen needs to cook delicious and tasty food," she stated.
