Tumbled Truck on JORR W2 Toll Road Evacuated

A truck containing raw materials for cement  tumbled on JORR W2 Toll Road, KM 14/800, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, Tuesday (5/5). Even, the truck body bounced out of toll guardrail and covered the turn of Jalan M Saidi, Petukangan Selatan. 

Based on the information, the driver was sleepy. It contained of 28 ton cement that headed from Cilegon to Karawang

"It was heading from Cilegon to Karawang. Suddenly, the driver was sleepy, then swerved left off the road and tumbled," said a truck conductor, Polos (28), Tuesday(5/5). 

Based on beritajakarta.com observation, the truck plate numbered H 1875 was tumbled to the left. As the truck body was quite big, the guardrail between toll and public road collapsed. In the end, the truck covered a turn towards Jalan M Saidi Petukangan Selatan.

According to one of Highway Police officers(PJR) for Metro Jaya Regional Police, AKP Sujono, based on information gathered, the accident was because the driver sleepy. "Based on the information, the driver was sleepy. It contained of 28 ton cement that headed from Cilegon to Karawang," he uttered. 

Consequently, the turn of Jalan M saidi had long congestion. As more than half road covered by the truck. Thus only mini vehicles could pass by. 

The poor truck can be evacuated about 10. 15 AM, after polices sent a big capacity tow truck to the scene. No casualty in this incident. Meanwhile, the driver and conductor secured by police for questioning.
