Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency deployed 86 personnel to guard the grand mass at Gelora Bung Karno, Thursday (9/5) tomorrow.

Transportation Agency deploys 450 personnel and 12 towing trucks

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Wildan Anwar, said those 86 personnel will join other personnel to arrange traffic at several areas. They will on duty on Wednesday (9/4) to Friday (9/6).

"Transportation Agency deploys 450 personnel and 12 towing trucks. We also cooperate  Metro Jaya Police," he said, Wednesday (9/4).

In Central Jakarta, Wildan added, his side deploys personnel for Istiqlal Mosque, Katedral Church, National Palace, National Monument and up to Jalan Thamrin-Sudirman.

Then also for Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jalan Abdul Muis, and Jalan Imam Bonjol. Personnel will also conduct patrol for illegal parking.

"We try to minimize the traffic as impacted by this event," he added.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Traffic Operational Handling and Road Transport Section Head, Haryo Bagus, hoped people who want to cross a number of roads affected by the visit can adjust themselves by diverting routes and following the directions of officers in the field.

"We also remind the public not to park their vehicles carelessly. Our officers will enforce towing to avoid cause traffic jams," he stated.
