Area Arrangement on Jalan Ciracas Reaches 85 Percent

The land arrangement progressed on Jalan Raya, Ciracas, East Jakarta, which has been ongoing since last July has reached 85 percent.

It is targeted to be completed by the end of September

Ciracas Urban Village Head, Sudarna said the arrangement location, which stretches from the Cipinang River Bridge to the front entrance of the Pusdiklat Damkar office, was the target of the arrangement because it looked dirty and chaotic.

"It is targeted to be completed by the end of September," he expressed, Thursday (9/5).

According to him, the arrangement was done by creating a garden decorated with various murals and wood and stone reliefs. There is also a green mini bridge that stretches over the water channel.

PPSU Personnel, Oman Sumantri added there were around 4,500 polybags of ornamental plants planted in this area, including, Krokot trees, Patah Tulang green and white leaves, purple Adam Hawa, Puring, Pylo Lemon, Lili Paris, and White Gandarusa.

There were also plant types Red, Green and Kribo Hanjuang, Tetehan, Pucuk Merah, Miyana Batik, Euphoria, Asoka, and Spiderplan.

"Some of the plants are donations from the Parks and City Forest Sub-agency, and some are the result of our nurseries," he explained.

Even, the Cipinang River Bridge repainting was also conducted by East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Task Force, including improving the sidewalk at the location.

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Benhard Hutajulu explained the painting was done because the condition of the bridge's paint was dull, making it unsightly.

"It aims to increase the beauty and aesthetics of the city," he explained.

Ciracas Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Delya added the painting involved six personnel. It was focused on two sides of the bridge that was 15 meters in length.

"We also improve the sidewalk here," she closed.
