Access Road to Kembangan Utara Urban Forest Built

Local Administration is about to build Access road towards Kembangan Utara Urban Forest (HKKU), Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan, West Jakarta. It will be conducted this mid-year.

Currently, the access road of HKKU is  very not adequate and narrow thus it only can be passed two-wheeled vehicles

Head of West Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-Department, Djoko Rianto Budi stated, the construction of access needed as the current access road is quite narrow and it only can be passed by two-wheeled vehicles.

"Currently, the access road of HKKU is  very not adequate and narrow thus it only can be passed two-wheeled vehicles. While for four-wheeled vehicles have to pass by Green Garden Complex," he told, Sunday (5/10).

Situ Rawa Dongkal Urban Forest Not Maintained

The construction, he continued, conducted by West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department along 200 meters starting from the gate to Cengkareng Drain Inspection Road.

Eventually, the road will be widen up to 25 meters with 2 of 10 meters wide lanes. "It is expected by constructing the access road, it will ease citizens entering HKKU," he uttered .

Besides that, he added, his party will also expand the urban forest. It aims to acquire 6 lands owned by citizens which reach 8,000 square meters with budget amounted to Rp 20 billion.
