Green Belt Fence on Jalan Raya Bogor Repaired

The East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency, repaired a fence dividing the green belt on Jalan Raya Bogor, Rambutan Urban Village, Ciracas, which was damaged and intentionally removed due to the construction of the Kali Baru sheet pile.

The total length of the fence to be installed is 30 meters

According to Djauhar Arifin, Head of East Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency, many fences had been deliberately removed to allow access for heavy equipment in order to smoothen the construction.

There was also a fence that was damaged due to frequent flooding of the river which carried waste material and overflowed onto Jalan Raya Bogor.

"We reinstalled the fence on the side of Jalan Raya Bogor so that it looks neat. Its installation was started since Monday (9/30) and the target is to finish today," he expressed, Thursday (10/3).

"The total length of the fence to be installed is 30 meters with a height of 1.8 meters," he continued.

Ciracas Sub-district Parks and City Forest Executing Unit Head, Hani Hartini added the work involved six personnel using welding equipment.

"Crane unit was also prepared at the location to help the installation process. Because the fence is long and heavy, it must be helped to be lifted using the crane," she concluded.
