Residents and PPSU Personnel Hold Community Work Ahead of Rainy Season

Hundreds of resident assisted by PPSU personnel conducted community work at RW 06, Keagungan Urban Village, Taman Sari Sub-district, West Jakarta, Sunday (10/6).
We may also see rainy season now
Keagungan Urban Village Head, Sahat Marulitua Simorangkir, said the residents gathered at RW 06 or Keagungan Urban Village since morning.
"The community work was held to provide clean and healthy environment. We may also see rainy season now," he said.
Central Jakarta Administration Holds Community Work at Lapangan BantengSahat added residents together with PPSU personnel cleaned waste on residential, road, water channel, and river. Shady trees were also pruned to avoid fallen tree during heavy rain accompanied with strong wind.
"The waste then transported to dump site by using West Jakarta Environment Sub-agency's truck," he added.
RW 06 Head, Keagungan Urban Village, Sakrat, appreciated the community work held in his residential.
"Hopefully the water channel is able to flow water smoothly in rainy season," he hoped.
