Six PPSU members from Rawa Barat Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district, South Jakarta, repainted the kanstine on Jalan Gunawarman.
The previous paint color already looks dull
Rawa Barat Urban Village Head, Merinta Hendri Purnomo said the painting was aimed at beautifying and improving to the aesthetics of the area.
"The previous paint color already looks dull. We repaint it with the same color black and white," he expressed, Wednesday (10/16).
Kanstine on Jalan Prof Dr Latumenten RepaintedHe explained it has been started since October 14, 2024, and is targeted to be completed today.
"To anticipate unwanted things, we only deploy PPSU to do painting when there is no traffic congestion," he explained.
He hoped that the brightly colored kanstine would provide a greater sense of security for road users.
"After the kantines on Jalan Gunawarman, we plan to run similar activities on other main roads or protocol roads in Rawa Barat Urban Village area," he explained.
The work received appreciation from one of the residents, Tono (35).
"It's quite good because it's bright again, especially at night so as not to endanger anyone passing by," he stated.
