PKK Cadres in S. Jakarta Prompted to Become Entrepreneurs

The South Jakarta administration urges local Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement (PKK) cadres to improve entrepreneurship among its members or cadres.

South Jakarta Administration and People's Welfare Assiatant, Sayud Ali stated TP PKK at all levels should be able to encourage the community to improve the efforts of PKK cadres through collaboration with partners, both from the government and private sectors.

"PKK cadres in entrepreneurship must be able to consider various things, such as time considerations, choice of type and suitability of business to their nature as a husband's companion," he expressed, while giving a speech at the routine PKK activities, in the Main Gelatik Room, South Jakarta Mayor's Office, Monday (10/21).

He went on to say that PKK should be able to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit through the PKK Family Income Improvement Effort (UP2K). Because, by being an entrepreneur, PKK cadres were expected to manage themselves and empower the community and empower the local economy.

"We want family economic efforts with creativity and innovation that are continuously developed or find something different from what already exists to continue running so that the family economy can be well maintained," he explained.

South Jakarta TP PKK Chairperson, Essie Feransie Munjirin mentioned, the 100 cadres or PKK members from 10 sub-districts who attended were given interesting materials by competent speakers from Finansialku and Neo Bank.

The material provided is related to strengthening the family economy in utilizing the potential of existing resources, and developing UP2K businesses.

"Hopefully, everyone present will listen to this material well, thus it will provide great benefits for themselves and their families," he hoped.
