Jakarta Central Statistics Agency Head, Nurul Hasanudin, said his side invited 50 participants representatives from private companies, BUMN, BUMD, campus academics, hospital managers, regional apparatus organizations (OPD) of the Jakarta Provincial Government, and from the mass media.
According to Nurul, IHP has a role as an early warning for inflation data by looking at price movements at the producer level.
"It is important to get input through this FGD to produce quality and timely IHP data," he said.
Nurul explained that a quality IHP will be closely related to the preparation of Jakarta to become a top 20 global city. Because, According to Nurul, a quality IHP can clearly describe the potential and level of the economy that are indicators of a global city.
Nurul added that IHP has coverage in the fields of agriculture, mining and excavation, processing industry, electricity and gas procurement.
Then, water management, transportation, provision of accommodation and food and beverages, communication, education services and health services.
"We conduct a Producer Price Survey (SHP) every month in order to produce quality, complete and sustainable IHP. Then the data is released quarterly," he added.
