South Jakarta City Administration through National and Political Unity (Kesbangpol) Sub-agency held an event to improve partnerships between the city government and political parties at the Antasari Room, local Mayor's Office.

South Jakarta Governmental Division Head, Fernando, said the event which was filled with socialization of activities to increase public understanding in the political field, especially for the younger generation and political party cadres, is expected to increase insight and knowledge regarding the regional elections.

"We want the democratic process, especially in South Jakarta, to run conducively," he said, Tuesday (10/22).

He invited the participants of this activity to play a role in making all stages of the Jakarta Pilkada a success so that it runs smoothly, safely and conducively.

South Jakarta National and Political Unity (Kesbangpol) Sub-agency Head, Dirhamul Nugraha, explained this activity was attended by 100 participants of representatives of political party administrators and others.

"I hope they can provide understanding to the surrounding environment about conducive regional elections," he explained.

He also advised the participants, who were dominated by representatives of political parties and forums under Kesbangpol, to be intermediaries for information conveyed by the government and the Pilkada organizers.

"Hopefully the material presented can be implemented well. Participants can also invite voters, especially young people to use their rights in the Jakarta Pilkada," he stated.
