TMII and Culture Agency Agree to Develop Culture

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) Management and Jakarta Culture Agency are ready to cooperate in developing culture.

The cooperation signing was signed by TMII Director Intan Ayu Kartika and Jakarta Culture Agency Head Iwan Henry Wardhana, Monday (10/21) ago.

TMII Director, Intan Ayu Kartika, said the signing of this collaboration is a step in line with one of TMII's pillars, namely "culture".

According to her, this collaboration needs to be run to ensure that TMII always preserves Indonesian culture and provides the best experience for visitors, as well as always innovating and transforming into a relevant cultural and recreational center in the future.

"Our mission and also our desire are always to participate and take part in preserving and maintaining Indonesian culture," she said in a press release, Thursday (10/24).

Intan added the collaboration in the program initiated by Jakarta Culture Agency, namely NAWASENA or a bright future, is one of the important points.

Jakarta Culture Agency Head, Iwan Henry Wardhana, stated NAWASENA is a future cultural development program packaged in a digital platform.

"We create innovation in a program called NAWASENA together with TMII to prepare Jakarta as a global city," he stated.

His side and TMII will hold several programs from cultural festival up to education for community through this platform.

"Hopefully this collaboration can strengthen efforts to preserve and develop cultural heritage that has a positive impact on the people of Jakarta," he explained.
