Jakarta City Council's E Commission Chairman, Muhammad Thamrin, requested Jakarta Health Agency to also focus in spending budget for stunting prevention and handling next year.

During the discussion of the General Budget Policy and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priorities (KUA-PPAS) for the 2025 Fiscal Year APBD, Thamrin said that Jakarta residents must grow up healthy, fit, and strong.

Moreover, Thamrin also requested Health Agency to provide a drug delivery service program for patients. He assessed that this service can ease patients getting medicine without waiting in long line.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Health Agency Head, Ani Ruspitawati, explained her side proposed budget Rp 10.6 trillion for 2025.
Ani detailed the work targets for next year are acceleration of completion and prevention of stunting, reduction of MMR and IMR, control of tuberculosis and HIV, implementation of primary service integration, implementation of control of dengue fever through Wolbachia mosquito technology, and development of health information systems.
"We also focus on strengthening referral services and developing superior services at Regional General Hospitals, strengthening primary services and health resilience systems, poverty alleviation efforts, and optimizing the coverage of health insurance and social security," she explained.
