W. Jakarta Gulkarmat to Distribute 900 APAR for Resident

West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency is about to distribute 900 light extinguisher (APAR)s for resident in early December.

West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Putut Jantoko said the light extinguisher distribution is to accommodate resident's request and council members' recess.
Fire in Pondok Ranggon Successfully Extinguished"We'll distribute 900 light extinguishers this year for resident. The number is higher compared to last year by 200 units," he said, Monday (10/28).
Putut explained the light extinguishers will be distributed to 450 RTs including areas prone to fire case such as Kalideres, Cengkareng, Tambora Sub-districts and so on.
Each RT, Putut added, will receive two units of 3.5 kgs capacity per unit.
"The distribution will be run in early December," Putut explained.
Aside of distributing light extinguisher, his side has constructed seven hydrants in residential areas for early fire handling.
"The efforts are aimed to suppress fire case in West Jakarta," he stated.
