The eroded channel plaster on Jalan Utama VII, RT 01/RW 01 Cengkareng Barat, West Jakarta, is repaired by joint personnel of PPSU, Water Resource Taskforce, Bina Marga, and City Park and Forestry Sub-agency of West Jakarta.

Cengkareng Barat Urban Village's Economy and Development Section Head, Sri Hardiyaningsih, said the joint personnel are not only repairing the eroded plaster, but also arranging the channel along 50 meter.

Sri added the repair is carried out by installing lightweight bricks on two sides of the channel retaining wall and the top is covered with concrete casting.
Next, a curb will be made on the edge of the channel. This one-meter wide curb is useful as a boundary on the green belt land as well as a protector of trees and ornamental plants that are planted.
Sri continued her side also provides PKK's taman hatinya park for herb plants, nutritional pool, and iron rack for honey pumpkin.
"The work has been running since early October and is targeted to complete in December," she added.
One of local resident living at RT 01/01, Saidi Mursan (62), hoped the arrangement will make the area cleaner, greener, and tidier.
"This also makes residents visiting urban village office more comfortable," he admitted.
