According to him, the Jakarta DPRD would support budgeting for improving services and facilities at the hospital because it was a need for the residents.

"In the form of a budget, we support the budget. Optimal services in the health and education sectors for the community must be a priority," he expressed, at City Council building, Wednesday (10/30).

By meeting the budget proposed by the Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes), he asserted, it was hoped health services for the community could be maximized.

"There is already a budget, there are parameters. We do basic health services by looking at the priority scale," he explained.

By increasing the status of health service facilities (Fasyankes), it could provide more convenience for residents.

"Residents can seek treatment at the nearest health facility from their home, more effectively and efficiently. Moreover, if emergency treatment is needed immediately," he explained.

Previously, the Commission leaders had submitted recommendations regarding the results of the consultation held last week in a Plenary Meeting, Monday (10/28) afternoon.

In the meeting, DPRD Commission E Chairperson, Justin Adrian recommended that the Tugu Koja and Cilincing Regional Public Hospitals be upgraded to type C.

Hopefully, the medical equipment in both regional hospitals would be more complete, such as the availability of CT scans, an increase in the number of rooms and operating rooms.
