5,952 Job Seekers Access Job Fair 2024 in C. Jakarta

As many as 5,953 job seekers are recorded as accessing the job fair held by Central Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency (Nakertransgi) in three shopping centers during 2024.

Of that total, 270 of them are job seekers with ID cards or Jakarta residents

Central Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-agency Acting Head, Noviar Dinariyanti said the job fair 2024 was first held on May 28-29 at the Thamrin City Shopping Center, Tanah Abang. As a result, 2,310 people attended and accessed the job vacancies offered.

"Almost every job fair we attend is attended by 40 companies from various fields such as retail, automotive, shipping, financial services and security services," he expressed, Wednesday (10/30).

The second fair was held at Gajah Mada Plaza shopping center, Gambir, from July 31 to August 1, 2024. As a result, 1,882 job seekers accessed the various vacancies offered.

Then the third fair was held at ITC Cempaka Mas shopping center, Kemayoran, from October 22 to 23, 2024. The fair which was held for two days was accessed by 1,761 job seekers.

"This is the last one this year. For next year it will definitely be held again, but of course there will be an evaluation for improvement," he added.

Training, Placement, Productivity and Transmigration Section (P3T) Head, Helazurine Lindane added from the two job fairs, in May and July, as many as 439 job seekers had been placed with companies.

In detail, until September 2024, 285 job seekers from the job fair in Thamrin City and 154 people at Gajah Mada Plaza had been placed in companies.

"Of that total, 270 of them are job seekers with ID cards or Jakarta residents," he said.
