Central Jakarta Optimizes Efforts to Achieve Predicate of Child-Friendly City

The Central Jakarta administration continues to optimize efforts to achieve the main criteria for the Child-Friendly City (KLA) predicate this year.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma mentioned optimization was not only carried out on infrastructure but also in the administrative sector in a bid to obtain maximum value during the assessment.
"We have met the urban infrastructure well, all that remains is administrative completeness. We want the city of Central Jakarta that we love to be able to get the KLA predicate," he expressed, Friday (11/1).

"This KLA works together with various elements and collaboration of stakeholders, policymakers, and program activity stakeholders. Its orientation is on fulfilling children's rights and special protection," he asserted.
Central Jakarta PPAPP Su-agency Head, Dwi Wahyu Rianti uttered his party had coordinated with the PPAPP Agency regarding the evaluation of the implementation of KLA and the strengthening needed.
As planned, the assessment which was scheduled to be carried out in November or December 2024 would be postponed to January 2025.
From the evaluation results conducted by the PPAPP Agency, Central Jakarta has currently achieved a score of 877. The score achievement is acknowledged to exceed the main criteria standard value of 801.
"But, there are still other strategies that need to be done and prepared when the jury conducts the field verification later to ensure that Central Jakarta can achieve the main KLA criteria," he uttered.
