E. Jakarta PMI Distributes Assistance to Strong Wind Survivors

East Jakarta PMI distributed assistance for residents living on Jalan H, Nusi RT 04/02 Batu Ampar Urban Village, Kramat Jati. Their houses were broken due to strong wind on November 3.

East Jakarta PMI's Public Relation and Communication Head, Agus Bastian explained the assistance provided was in the form of 40 sheets of corrugated iron, four family kit packages and Rp 2 million in cash.

"The assistance was distributed directly and received by the survivors. Hopefully this will lighten their burden," he said.

Meanwhile, Batu Ampar Urban Village Secretary, Abdul Haris, admitted his side had sent letter to East Jakarta PMI and Baznas Bazis to assist his residents who also work as urban village PPSU.

"It is hoped Baznas Bazis will construct their houses," he hoped.
