According to him, Buaran Water Processing Installation is needed for residents for their clean water access.
"It is based on our needs. Not only for drinking, but also daily needs," he added.
Perumda PAM Jaya Director, Arief Nasrudin explained the construction is targeted to complete in December 2024. Piping to houses will be run in April 2025.
"Our completion target of construction is December 2024. Then piping to resident houses in April 2025," he explained.
IPA Buaran III has a capacity of 3000 liters per second (lps) and will provide clean water services to 250 thousand new connections. The construction of WTP at IPA Buaran III will produce water with drinking water quality.
"This is what we have to make sure is that there is no water contamination through the old pipes," he continued.
He said, to ensure the quality of the pipes, it is necessary to renew all the pipes in the community. However, the process takes time.
