He added that his side deployed four Blue Taskforce personnel to dredge 450 meter-long water channel.
He hopes the dredging could prevent inundation or flood especially during rain.
"We also appeal local residents to maintain the channel cleanliness by not littering," he added.
One of local residents, Chairul (43) appreciated the channel normalization in his area.
"Thanks for responding our request. Hopefully the area will be free of inundation," he hoped.
