Pejaten Timur Urban Village Head, Rocky A Tarigan said the arrangement included the illegal building control dominated by street vendor stalls on Jakarta Provincial Government's land.
"The controlled illegal buildings were on land where shortcut road to be built," he said, Wednesday (1/8).
He added that 10 illegal buildings were controlled during the arrangement by involving 30 joint personnel of Satpol PP, Environmental Sub-agency, PPSU, and local caretakers.
Rocky hopes the arrangement will create neat and clean area, as well as smoothen the project implementation.
"We appeal the locals not to construct any illegal buildings in the area. Our personnel will keep monitoring the area," he stated.
