Residents Flock to Cheap Bazaar at Cilandak Timur Urban Village Office

Cheap bazaar held by PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya at Cilandak Timur Urban Village Office, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta was enthused by residents.

One of local residents, Supiah (52), admitted happy with the implementation of cheap bazaar. The activity sold main commodity cheaper compared to usual market.

"The price is lower compared to usual market. It is affordable for us," she said, Wednesday (1/15).

She requested that the cheap bazaar can be held again especially ahead of Eid ul Fitr.

"I appreciate the government for providing this program for us. The price is also affordable. Thank you," she added.

Meanwhile, Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Agus Muharam stated the bazaar aimed to fulfill the commodity stock and stabilize its price in Jakarta.

Today's commodity sold at the bazaar were chili, rice, onion, cooking oil, sugar, flour and egg with the price started from Rp 10,000 up to Rp 71,000. There was also cooking oil, rice, and flour package sold at Rp 55,000.

"The residents started to flock to the bazaar in the morning. Hopefully we can provide it again since they were enthusiast," he stated.
