January 27-29, 2025, No Odd-Even Restriction to Be Applied

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to eliminate the odd-even license plate number restriction policy temporarily on January 27-29, 2025 due to Isra Miraj of Prophet Muhammad and Chinese New Year holidays.

Let's use this holiday momentum wisely

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo, said the policy is taken to facilitate the resident mobility during the long holidays.

"The policy is taken based on Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 88/2019 Chapter 3 Verse 3. It says that odd-even license plate number restriction is not applied on Saturday, Sunday and national holidays determined by the President," he said, Monday (1/20).

Transjakarta Corridor 1 Remains in Operation

He remains appealed the residents to maintain traffic order for the sake of people's safety and comfort during the long holidays. It includes planning trips by using public transportation to reduce traffic congestion.

"Let's use this holiday momentum wisely and remain supporting the government's efforts to create a comfortable and safe road environment for everyone," he stated.
