The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) diverts traffic flow for the music concert of the American rock band Maroon 5 at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta tonight.

One lane will be applied on Jalan Ketel on the South side

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo said traffic would be closed on Jalan Ancol Timur, south side from Karnaval Gate Intersection towards the west for approximately 60 meters, from 9 AM to 11 PM.

"One lane will be applied on Jalan Ketel on the South side from the Ancol Karnaval Gate Intersection to Ancol-JIS JPO access," he expressed, Saturday (2/1).

Here are alternative routes to minimize traffic jam during the concert:

1. Traffic flow towards JIS from the West/West Ancol Toll Exit can go via Jalan Lodan Raya – Jalan Ancol Timur – Jalan Ketel – Jalan RE Martadinata – Jalan Sunter Permai

2. Traffic flow towards JIS from the West/Jalan RE Martadinata can go via Jalan Gunung Sahari – Jalan Industri – Jalan Benyamin Sueb – Jalan Griya Utama/ via Jalan HBR Motik – Jalan Danau Sunter Barat

3. Traffic flow towards JIS from the East/Ir Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road to JIS can be via Papanggo Toll Exit – Jalan Danau Bisma

4. Traffic flow towards JIS from the East/Tanjung Priok to JIS can go via Jalan RE Martadinata – Jalan Sunter Permai Raya

5. Traffic flow towards JIS to the East/Ir Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road can go via Jalan Danau Bisma – Papanggo Toll Gate, etc

5. Traffic flow towards JIS from the East/Tanjung Priok can go through Jalan Benyamin Sueb – Loop Flyover Ancol – Jalan Lodan Raya, etc

7. Traffic flow towards JIS from the South/West/Jalan Gunung Sahari can go via Jalan Sunter Lake Barat – Jalan Griya Utama – Jalan Benyamin Sueb/via Jalan HBR Motik – Jalan Industrial – Jalan Gunung Sahari, etc

He urges the audience to use public transportation or official parking areas that have been provided to avoid traffic jams and facilitate access.

"Alternative access that can be used includes Transjakarta, KRL Commuter Line, LRT Jakarta, and shuttle buses from parking pockets in Ancol," he explained.

Previously, Jakpro together with the North Jakarta Mayor's Government had also provided parking pockets outside the JIS area for private drivers in Ancol and provided shuttles to mobilize visitors from the parking pockets to the Ancol Carnival Gate.

"For those bringing private vehicles, we recommend paying attention to the parking pockets that have been prepared and using the shuttle service available to get to the concert area more easily," stated JIS SBU Head, Shinta Syamsul Arief.
