A fire burned the Elang Jaya Motorboat at the Muara Baru Port, Jalan Tuna Raya, Penjaringan Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, reportedly caused by an electricity short-circuit.

North Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency's Operation Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman said his personnel received fire report yesterday at around 5.50 PM.

A Passenger Boat Burnt Near Muara Angke PortHe explained the fire was allegedly triggered by an electricity short-circuit in the boat's engine room while refueling.
"This boat's position was initially close to the Port gas station," he explained.
He added personnel completely handled the fire at 8.16 PM. No fatalities or casualties in the incident.
"Thus far, this case is being handled by the Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police," he closed.
