RDF Plant Jakarta Ready for Environmentally Friendly Operations

"This RDF Plant is made as the national waste management example. There is also another RDF Plant in Bantargebang," she said, Friday (2/14).

Ida added that not only the facility infrastructure, but the human resources preparation is also important for the sake of smooth operational.

"Hopefully the human resources needed by the Rorotan RDF Plant will be able to operate the facility well," she added.

According to her, this RDF Plant construction is hoped to overcome waste problem in Jakarta through waste-alternative fuel processing.

"This facility has big potential in overcoming waste problem. The processing result can be used by cement industry in Indonesia," she continued.

She hoped the construction of another RDF Plant such as in West Jakarta can be realized to overcome waste problem in Jakarta. Moreover, Bantar Gebang Dumpsite capacity is getting lower.
