Jakarta Provincial Government keeps anticipating the rise of food price and stock availability ahead of Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr 2025.

Jakarta Food Security, Marine and Agriculture Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati, said 98 percent of Jakarta's food stock comes from outside of the city. It means cooperation plays important role in maintaining price stability.
"As we all know, meat price by the end of January up to early March is increasing by 0.15 percent, then medium price increases by 0.90 percent. Now we're focusing on stock and price especially rice," she said, Monday (2/17).

In fact, she ensures that rice stock in Jakarta remains safe for the next six months thanks to reserve stock owned by Bulog and PIBC together with PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya.
According to her, Jakarta has cooperated with 39 regencies/cities through various scheme such as trading, contract farming and on-farming. The effort aims to maintain horticultural commodities and other strategic foods.
"Hopefully this effort can keep inflation in Jakarta under control. Food needs are still met, and the price increase is still within reasonable limits ahead of Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr," she stated.
