Transjakarta Prepares 30 Electric Buses to Support Regional Heads Inauguration

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) prepares 30 electric buses to support the inauguration of Regional Heads at State Palace today.

Transjakarta Public Relation and CSR Department Head, Ayu Wardhani said the buses will be uses as shuttle to transport Regional Heads from Monas heading to State Palace.

Those 30 electric buses type are low entry.

"Electric buses are chosen as form of environmentally-friendly transportation in supporting Jakarta as a global city with net zero emission," she said, Thursday (2/20).

Ayu explained that this is a form of Jakarta Provincial Government's contribution, through Transjakarta as the Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) operating in transportation sector to ensure the success of regional heads inauguration.

She added that the Transjakarta operational remains normal in the inauguration are. But the route is adjusted according to the applicable traffic engineering during the event.
