Jakarta Provincial Government through Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Micro Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency prepares 15,000 portions of free food to enliven the welcoming Jakarta Governor and Vice Governor, Pramono Anung Wibowo-Rano Karno, event at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Thursday (2/20).

The free food starts to be opened at 12:30 PM at several spots around City Hall. There are 75 MSMEs from five administration areas involved in the event.
Several traditional menus are served namely noodle soup, meatball soup, bogana rice, ulam rice, ketupat sayur, chicken noodles, satay, green bean porridge, lontong sayur, as well as Betawi specialties such as Betawi dodol and egg crust.

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head Ratu Rante Allo said the activity aims to give appreciation for visitors and support for Jakarta Provincial Government fostered MSMEs traders.
"We want to enliven the inauguration event by presenting typical Jakarta and Indonesian food. It is also providing an opportunity for MSMEs fostered by Jakpreneur to introduce their products," Ratu said.
Ratu added that Jakarta Provincial Government hopes to increase the exposure and marketing by involving the fostered MSMEs traders.
"We want to share happiness with visitors of this event. Then we also want to ensure that local MSMEs get economic benefits from this special moment," she added.
Ratu explained that this activity is part of Jakarta Provincial Government to foster and empower local MSMEs. She hopes this opportunity will make them more developed and be able to compete in a wider market.
"Jakarta Provincial Government hopes the event is not only create a lively atmosphere, but also gives positive impact for MSMEs traders and society," she stated.
