The Kebayoran Baru Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Implementation Unit, South Jakarta has completed the revitalization of the water channel on Jalan Langsat, Kramat Pela Urban Village.

Kebayoran Baru Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Sutopo said this channel repair is a form of support for the opening of the Langsat Park for 24 hours in the future.

"We provide support by revitalizing the channels around the park to prevent potential flooding," he expressed, Friday (2/28).

He explained the revitalization of the 40-meter-long channel was conducted using 60 and 80 centimeter U-ditches.

"The work, which lasted for one week, started last Thursday and involved seven personnel and one piece of heavy equipment," he explained.

The work received appreciation from one of the locals, Sahrul (43).

"This work is good. The channel is also equipped with a concrete plate cover so it is safer and can prevent garbage from entering," he stated.
