Commission C Proposes BUMD to Own Priority Program

Jakarta City Council's Commission C Chairman, Dimaz Raditya proposed Jakarta BUMD to prepare one company's flagship priority program.

This proposal is expected to be able to raise the class of state-owned companies owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"This is only a suggestion which aims to improve our BUMDs," he said, Wednesday (3/19).

Dimaz added that the BUMD priority program must be the mainstay of every company unit. He also appealed the Jakarta BUMD to submit its priority program at the upcoming Regional Government Working Meeting (RKPD).

"Some of BUMDs have delivered their programs. Hopefully they will pick one as the priority," he added.

Dimaz targeted the priority program can make great revenue for Jakarta BUMD.

Bank DKI Director, Agus Haryoto Widodo welcomed the Jakarta City Council suggestion. He stated each BUMD has submitted initiatives and breakthroughs so to give benefit for society.

"We support it much. Bank DKI remains improve itself with initiatives and innovations for the sake of society welfare," he stated.
