Jakarta Social Department give aid to 1,900 elderly residents (lansia) in a form of natura, walk supporting tool (kruk) and other on Thursday (6/11). The aid delivered in the sideline of 19th Hari Lanjut Usia (HLUN) celebration in Wiladatika Park, Cibubur, Ciracas, East Jakarta.

Jakarta Social Department Head, Masrokhan said, Jakarta should become elderly-friendly city and prevent them stranded.

"Now, we have 4 Tresna Werdha House for all elderly stranded in Jakarta, we treat them well and give them skill to be mastered," told Masrokhan, Thursday (6/11).

Meanwhile, an elderly residents in Wredatama Cipayung 1 House, Winda (65) said that she is very happy to stay at the house.

"I just live there 2 months because I don't have any family. My husband was passed away 3 years ago and I have no home. Finally, my neighbor deliver me to here," told Winda.
