2,906 Personnel Ready to Maintain Cleanliness of Jakarta During Eid Holidays

As many as 2,906 cleaning personnel will be deployed during Eid Eve, Eid and Eid holidays 2025 to ensure the cleanliness of Jakarta. Personnel will be deployed at various locations such as Dump Sites (TPS), tourism sites, and public areas.

We prepare 70 personnel in every district

Jakarta Environmental Agency Head, Asep Kuswanto said his side also prepares 89 road sweepers, 35 toilet buses, and 20 portable toilet units.

"We prepare 70 personnel in every district," he said, Thursday (3/27).

South Jakarta Sets Up 10 Health Posts on the Eve of Eid

He added that TPS to be emptied before Eid, and road cleaning both manually and with road sweepers will be run on Eid.

"Cleanliness during holidays will be focused on tourism sites such as Monas, Kota Tua, Ragunan, and Ancol," he added.

Asep ensured that the Bantargebang TPST service would continue to operate during the Eid holiday, and instructed the emptying of Temporary Waste Storage Sites (TPS) throughout the Jakarta area.

Related to allocation of portable toilets and toile buses, the agency will deploy them at tourism sites, public cemeteries, homecoming posts, and prisons.

Asep continued the agency will also prepare personnel and facilities for waste management at train stations, bus terminals, and ports.

Moreover, the agency will also cooperate with homecoming transportation management including train station, bus terminal and port to ensure the waste is transported routinely.

This effort aims to maintain cleanliness and comfort for travelers and minimize the environmental impact of unmanaged waste, especially from leftover food and packaging.
