Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung commits to fully support the implementation of the prestigious world-class disability sports event that will be held on September 11-21, 2025.
Deputy Secretary General of NPC Indonesia, Rima Ferdianto thanked the governor for the support given.
"We ask for direction from the Governor and support. We are very happy that he said earlier that he would provide full support for this event," she said, Friday (4/11).
She believes that Jakarta Provincial Government' support will make this world event a success. Previously, Jakarta hosted the 2018 Asian Para Games.
The form of support expected from the Jakarta Provincial Government includes the provision of transportation and the use of a number of government-owned venues that are disability-friendly, as well as accommodation support including athlete dormitories and training facilities.
NPC Indonesia will also cooperate with Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency Head to determine for suitable training location for the participating countries' contingents who arrived earlier.
Rima stated it is targeted that 55 countries with 1,700 participants to compete in 13 sport branches in this event.
