The Penjaringan Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit, North Jakarta is repairing the water channel on Jalan Tanah Pasir, RR 02/09, Pluit Urban Village.
It has been ongoing since April 21 and is targeted for completion next week or early May
Penjaringan Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Pendi said repairs are conducted as part of the maintenance program for channels in residential areas to ensure they continue to function optimally.
"The repair takes 50 meters long with 30 centimeters wide and 60 centimeters high," he expressed, Friday (4/25).

"It has been ongoing since April 21 and is targeted for completion next week or early May. The progress has touched 50 percent so far," he explained.
One of the residents from RT 02/09, Pluit Urban Village, Sahrul (49) explained the old retaining wall was small and often overflowed when it rained.
"Hopefully, there won't be any more floods after the repairs, and no one will throw garbage carelessly in the channel," he hoped.
