E. Jakarta Health Sub-agency Prepares 59 Personnel for Hajj Season

East Jakarta Health Sub-agency prepares 59 health personnel to give service for Jakarta prospective hajj pilgrims from departure and arrival stages.

Health services are provided from embarkation to disembarkation

East Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Herwin Meifendy said these personnel are part of 158 health personnel that will be departed to Mecca.

"Health services are provided from embarkation to disembarkation. We want to help ensure that prospective Hajj pilgrims can perform the Hajj smoothly in a fit and healthy condition," he said, Monday (5/5).

Uus Releases 39 Prospective Hajj Pilgrims in Semanan

Herwin explained that the 59 health personnel consisted of 38 Indonesian Hajj Health Workers (TKHI) consisting of 38 people with 19 doctors and 19 nurses. Then, 21 Regional Hajj Officers (PHD) consisting of 11 doctors and 10 nurses.

"The health personnel have attended the technical coaching and training," he added.

According to him, the first batch of health personnel flying group to be departed today.

"The second batch will go to Pondok Gede Hajj Dormitory on May 30," he continued.

Meamwhile, one of the prospective hajj pilgrims from Cakung, East Jakarta, Umi Sarmuji (51) admitted happy to perform Hajj pilgrimage this year.

"Thanks to Jakarta Provincial Government for preparing health personnel for us," she admitted.
