Ahok Visits Pramono at Jakarta City Hall

Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung met former Jakarta Governor 2014-2017 period, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or called Ahok, at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (5/21).

I haven't been here since Pramono became governor

Ahok said his meeting with Pramono was only a friendly visit and discussed changes to the Governor's workspace.

"I haven't been here since Pramono became governor. He changed his office to be more comfortable. This was also done in his official residence. I also had the chance to visit him there," Ahok said.

He also admired the changes to the current Governor's workspace that become very comfortable.

"I entered his office. The atmosphere was different, like at home. He was indeed clever at setting tables. His house was also nice," Ahok added.

Ahok believes that Pramono as the Jakarta Governor will fulfill all his campaign promises, including increasing the Regional Original Income. 

Responding about Pramono's plan to manage the abandoned monorail poles, Ahok admitted that he did not want to talk it much. But he stated that the abandoned monorail poles can be turned as a park.

Regarding the Jakarta City Council's proposal to establish a parking BUMD, Ahok also emphasized the importance of digital and cashless systems.

Moreover, Ahok also supports the policy for civil servants using public transportation. He also suggests to give incentive for community using public transportation.

"You can get a shopping voucher if you ride public transportation. This is just a suggestion to the governor," he stated.
