Bazar Serentak UKM di Kecamatan Kembangan Diserbu Warga

Locals Flock to RPTRA Gajah Tunggal Bazaar

A simultaneous bazaar at RPTRA Gajah Tunggal on Jalan KH Hasyim Pondok Cabe, RT 01/01, Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta, was crowded with local residents.

"...many booths crowded with residents since the opening at 9 AM,"

Kembangan Sub-district's Industry, Trade, and Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Unit Head, Nurmizen Okpiarwanty, said the bazaar, held on June 13-14, 2025, involved 30 Jakpreneurs.

"There are 15 booths, each containing two SMEs. They are mostly assisted by Kembangan Sub-district's PPKUKM Unit, West Jakarta PPAPP and KPKP Sub-agencies," he mentioned, on Friday (6/13).

Nurmizen explained that the products sold include food, drinks, and crafts, which have been curated to ensure quality and food safety.

"We also require participants to activate cashless payments or use QRIS," she added.

She hopes the simultaneous bazaar welcoming Jakarta's 498th Anniversary, held for the second time, will help showcase SME products and broaden their market reach, which will increase their revenue.

"I'm grateful to see so many booths crowded with residents since the opening at 9 AM," she expressed.

Meanwhile, a resident, Suhanah (45), hopes that similar bazaar can be held regularly and involve more vendors, especially in Kembangan.

"Hopefully there will be more vendors, so it's easier for us to choose products, so we won't get bored," she said.
