Pulo Gebang Integrated Bus Terminal Team Commander, Badman Harahap said, since Thursday (6/26) yesterday noon until Friday (6/27) today, there has been a surge in passengers heading to various cities through this terminal. It was recorded that on Thursday from 12 AM to 11:59 PM, the number of passengers departing from this terminal was 5,399 people using 533 AKAP buses.

For arriving passengers last Thursday, there were 2,067 people using 404 AKAP buses. Meanwhile, as of 7 AM, the number of departing passengers was 351 people using 32 AKAP buses.
"For arrivals at the same time, 1,438 passengers used 237 vehicles. This number is expected to continue increasing until tonight," he explained.
One of the passengers heading to Tegal, Central Java, Intan (37), admitted to purposely going back to her hometown intending to enjoy the long school holiday.
"My children want to take a vacation in our hometown. We prefer to take the bus for comfort. At least a week in the village so we can enjoy the holiday there," she admitted.
