Kembangan Selatan Urban Village Head, Pradana Putra said, the flood caused by heavy rain and the overflow of Angke River in the area has been gradually receding since this morning.
"This morning, it had already receded from a height of 30-40 centimeters and now it has completely receded," he expressed, Wednesday (7/9).

"After the flood receded, our personnel immediately took action to help residents clean up the neighborhood," he explained.
He added flood survivors had been received aid to meet their basic needs.
"Hopefully what we do can help ease their burden," he added.
One of the locals, Mei admitted that she has been displaced to one of the provided evacuation sites during the flood.
According to him, the local urban village authorities had distributed food and basic necessities to the refugees properly.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God), we are well taken care of, and we have already returned home because the flood has completely subsided," he admitted.
