Munjirin Inspires Students on First Day of New School Year

East Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, gave motivation to students entering the new school year 2025 at SMAN 39, Kopassus Complex Cijantung, Pasar Rebo Sub-district.

On that occasion, Munjirin, together with Jakarta Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control Agency (PPAPP) Head, Iin Mutmainnah, symbolically pinned the School Introduction Period (MPLS) badge onto the new students.
He congratulated the 355 students who had been accepted to SMAN 39.

He also reminded them to contribute to maintaining the good name of SMAN 39.
"This school (SMAN 39)'s name is already very good in East Jakarta. It becomes a challenge to keep it that way," he explained.
He also advised them to study seriously and avoid negative behaviors that could damage the school's reputation or harm themselves, like acts of violence, fights, bullying, drug abuse, and others.
"In using gadgets and social media, all students must also be wise and cautious," he explained.
SMAN 39 Principal, Casikin Icuk Yunadi added, 355 new students were divided into 10 study groups.
"They (stusents) are participating in the MPLS activities from today until July 18. Thank you and appreciation to the Mayor and Head of PPAPP Agency who attended on the first day of school," he stated.
There would be many speakers, including representatives from PPAPP Agency, Jakarta Education Agency, and local schools.
"The material shared relates to manners, education, bullying, as well as introducing the school environment and school facilities," he said.
