Pramono Quickly Responds to Allegation of Adulterated Rice by Food Station

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung emphasized the importance of transparency and accountability regarding the alleged adulterated rice involving PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya.

Pramono has also communicated with the Agriculture Minister regarding this case.

"Whatever directions and findings there are, I say they must not be concealed," he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall, Thursday (7/24).

According to him, all parties involved must take responsibility. Therefore, transparency is important. However, he also requested that PT Food Station honestly disclose if they are not involved.

"If you are not involved, you must tell the truth as it is," he asserted.

According to him, Food Station plays an important role in maintaining price stability in Jakarta and controlling inflation. He admits to having responsibility regarding that matter.

"To keep prices in Jakarta and inflation from rising too high, they have a significant contribution to it," he asserted.

Regarding this alleged adulteration case, Pramono handed it over to law enforcement authorities.

"I don't want to get involved in that matter," he closed.
