Pramono also previously announced that he had officially received the resignation letter of the PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya President Director. Besides, the company's Operations Director had also submitted a resignation letter.

He also emphasized that the Jakarta Government would fully support law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate the case.

"For matters related to law enforcement processes, we provide full support to law enforcement agencies to uncover, investigate, and resolve any issues," he explained.

As for the rice products that are already circulating in the market, he requested that they be recalled if possible.

"What about the things that have already happened? If it can be reversed, I will ask for it. But, perhaps, the issue has already been consumed," he explained.

As information, the resignation letter was directly submitted through the Jakarta City Secretary and has been followed up in accordance with the applicable procedures within the Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) environment.

Pramono emphasized that the Jakarta Government fully respects the ongoing legal process and ensures that there will be no interference with the investigation.

"While waiting for the official decree letter from the Police, I've already received a report regarding the resignation letter from the President Director. This is a form of personal responsibility that we value," he stated.

He stated that this case becomes a momentum to strengthen supervision and accountability within Jakarta's BUMD. Therefore, he also asked all levels of the BUMD's management to prioritize professional governance and uphold high integrity.

"BUMD is the local government's extension in serving the community. Therefore, accountability and integrity must become the main foundation," he asserted.

Despite some officials of Food Station have been named suspects, the Jakarta Government ensures that the food distribution services for the public continue to operate normally.

"The most important thing is public services must continue to operate. The distribution of strategic food supplies must also run smoothly, because this concerns the interests of millions of Jakarta residents," he uttered.

Pramono has also asked Food Station to improve internal supervision and open a public complaint channel. Residents can report findings of rice that do not meet standards to the number 0821-3700-1200.
